(4th of July at Coeur d'Alene Resort)

Hi all! It has certainly been a while since we've posted. Since our Cinco de Mayo celebration, we've put in a back lawn, updated the house, summer fun at the lakes, DAVE MATHEWS BAND at the Gorge Ampitheatre with great friends, new church endeavores, Halloween party, Patrick started his medical career as an assistant for cardiology clinic Heart Clinics Northwest, great Thanksgiving with the Reed family, and now, snow.

I'll leave you with pictures to tell the rest...

Cinco de Mayo! Who knew this would ever become an event that I would celebrate and look forward too. Nonetheless, it has become exactly that, along with St. Patrick's Day, etc. It's amazing to me how now that we're out of the college atmosphere these holidays become even more an excuse to get together with friends (as opposed to every Friday and Saturday night)

Even better now is being able to play the horn again....... (Patrick with local guitar phenom George Hartvagen)

And then there was our very first experience walking the Bloomsday. 41/2 miles we walked - did not get the t-shirt, but I did get to play a lot of cowbell with a righteous blues band by the name of "Back Beat Revival". We can talk more about that in private.

At Whistler

A new era of technological literacy now begins for Nikki and I with this little birth into the "blogosphere." What a cool deal really.

I've been imagining how we can better communicate our life with friends and family. Looked into "MySpace" - the place for friends (and also the frusterated youth and pedophiles) but that didn't seem to fit. But I think this may be the place. Whatever it is remains to be seen.
