Getting Clean

I decided I had to make this a separate post because I took way too many photos and love them all!  After we got home from the reunion and unloaded the car, Patrick and the kids gave it a good wash. After a trip down to the river and back up to the cabin, it was beyond dirty (as were the kids who got baths right after the car wash!). I love how focused they were on their task. :)

Ais got a little distracted and started washing herself

I can hardly keep clothes and shoes on this girl. She always wants to be "nakey," especially with a big brother who likes to go shirtless. :)

Myrick Family Reunion 2014

We just spent a long weekend at my family's cabin for our 1st Ever Myrick Family Reunion. My kids are currently 3 hours into a nap because they are EXHAUSTED. Which means they had a great time! It was hot, dirty and slightly chaotic, but full of family, babies, good food and tons of fun memories. A highlight for me was seeing all of the babies that have joined the family since the last time most of us were together. The young crowd was made up of (3) 3-year olds, a 2-year old, (2) 1-year olds and (3) babies 4 months and under. 9 kids 3 and under! Hence the chaos. :) With all of the cute babies to hold, I didn't use my camera much, but I got a few shots at least, mostly of the babies of course. :) Oh, and we had professional family photos done, so I can't wait to share those!

I almost forgot, there was one more 4 month old. Meet Moose:

We spent a lot of time outside, took a trip to the river and spent a lot of time riding. Or pretending to at least. :)

My cousin and his cute family. Dawson loooooved the four-wheelers!

These two had SO much fun together. They spent nearly every waking second together, most of it playing cars or on the log pile. These cousins get along perfectly, we love it.

Hopefully these two will be best buds too!

Lincoln and Callan

I'm so thankful for a wonderful family and the chance to get together! And a special thank you to everyone who had a part in putting it together and getting the cabin ready for all of us!
