This week was insane. And fun. And so social. Sometimes we lose our minds and overbook our schedule, but it's always good times. This week we had at least 2, if not 3 things booked each day. Wow. We got to catch up with lots of great people and eat lots of yummy food. :)
Our kids are such hams.

Mama needed a break so my friend Lightening came to the rescue ;) |
We passed on one of Ronan's favorite toys from his first birthday. Ais LOVES it. It's always the simplest things that make them so happy. It doesn't hurt that it makes a lot of noise too. :)
We have some friends that have boys each five months older than Ro and Ais. The two older boys get along so well and have so much fun together. They also have a hot tub so after dinner Wednesday night all the guys jumped in. Ronan has apparently forgotten his fear/dislike of getting water in his eyes because he just kept going and then popping up, thinking it was the greatest thing ever. His new-found boldness means that his fear has been transferred to me...time to get him in swimming lessons.
Someday Ais will want to be with the big kids, but for now she's happy to have some one-on-one time with mom. :)
Super happy.
First time in the swings for Aislinn! We are learning that everything Ronan likes, dislikes, reacts to, etc. is completely opposite with Aislinn. We had always heard it could be this way, but it is so interesting to experience. Ronan was so afraid of the swings his first time (he's finally warming up to them) and Aislinn just loves them. She seems to be introverted yet more daring while Ronan is extroverted but contemplative when it comes to new activities.
We ran to the grocery store Friday before having friends over. I was behind schedule, but the grocery store can be so fun with a two year old so we took our time. Ro got to walk by the cart for the first time and he discovered these awesome letters in the baby aisle. Seriously, Patrick and I had never even noticed them before. He seriously went back and forth 5 times pointing out each letter and getting so excited when he recognized one. (He is very into his letters right now). I love new adventures. :)
Some quality Daddy and Ais time. She's going after a banana - one of her very favorite foods and one that Ro still hardly touches.
Wrapping up the week with a chilly family walk. :)
