Hello all, this is Nikki's husband and Aisi and Ro's dad Patrick. I don't mean to steal Nikki's thunder later tonight, but I know many of you are wondering what Aislinn's head CT showed today: The air in the cyst space is now about 5-10% of the volume, versus where it was on Monday morning at about 50%. Dr. Gruber will proceed with the surgery and she is scheduled to have the shunt fully internalized in the operating room starting at 8am tomorrow morning.
What a crazy thing it is to say this is a relief! and praise God for this! We are so thankful to be moving forward in this way. Thank you as always for your prayers and support and we will be praying for God-like sterility in the OR tomorrow: no infections.
